A couple of days in New York City

Since the location is quite convenient on the way to Montreal, I decided to spend a couple of days in New York City visiting some friends, touching base with my editor/publisher dude, and otherwise just taking advantage of the opportunity to spend some time in one of more fascinating cities on the planet.

Hanging with Alex's mom and extended clan for a few days was a great way to just chat and socialise with some people, and I was also able to eat some great food.

Here is a panorama of my view from Brooklyn Heights. It's a great location, with excellent transportation links, and a wonderful view of the city.
	Yep, that's the Statue of Liberty out there. I still haven't been to visit.

	I walked around near Central Park to go to a French bakery to buy some bread and have a nice little snack.
		The best part of New York City is looking up.
	I had an awesome little sandwich and coffee for lunch. Sticker shock? 18$ all said and told. ¡¡¡Aiee!!!	I stopped by the MOMA hoping to see an exhibit that was there in 2005. No such luck.
		Still a nice way to spend a couple of hours.
