| Going into the city for some yoga | |

I started attending some classes at the Yoga Study Centre today, which is interesting in that it is miles away from anything else in Rishikesh, and also doesn't seem to want much in the way of money for its classes. So, I got an auto-rickshaw down there at 6.15am, and attended class starting at 7. The teacher is a nice man who teaches some nice Iyengar-style yoga, but has this tendency to randomly go on extremely long segues about unusual topics, such as the shape of samosas or the proper rolling of chapatis. The upshot of all this is that classes take anywhere from 2-3.5 hours, depending on how chatty he is feeling on any given day. But the yoga is still fun, so it's all good. |

The classroom is a very simple building with no windows on the open half of it -- just screens.

Morning rush-hour in Rishikesh proper.

Lots of guys with carts selling things in this town. I wish I knew what this was.

The weather was pretty creepy for most of today, so I just read a lot.
