| Hanging out in Meersburg | |

2005-06-30
After an extremely restful night (and excellent Bavarian food) in Meersburg, we were supposed to head on up to Belgium for the annual EuroPrez motorcycle Meeting. We couldn't help spending a bit of extra time, however, in Meersburg to check the town out. It's a very cool place, with castles, churches, and markets oh my! We then piled into the Nissan and drove the ~700km up to Büllingen, Belgium, near the German border. Most everybody else was already there. |
After the storm on Wednesday night, we wandered around town a bit.
The rain pretty much cleared the place out.

Thursday morning dawed nice and warm, and we wandered around the town a little bit.
Well, the girls actually wanted to do some shopping.
I just wandered and took some photos of the place.

This place gets a lot more crowded during the day, and huge groups of bicyclists going around the lake all start coming through town.

We next went to the upper town on the hill and check that out.
It's really cool up here.

Cool old watermill.
Here's the castle in town, but we were running out of time, so we decided to skip on going inside it.
This is the most elabourate gate I have ever seen.
