In the middle of my whirlwind touring around the northeast of the US and Canada, I managed to squeeze in a few days of relaxing up at my father and his wife's island. It's a great place to spend a few days not doing much, except catch some sun, and the dock makes for great waterfront yoga! |

A view towards the east and sort of the mainland.

The water levels have been a bit higher this year than in previous years, so they've been able to use the "big boat".
Sadly, the weather has been unseasonably calm and un-stormy. Great for sunbathing and relaxing, bad for huge fans of thunderstorms (such as I).
They've got everything on this island.

Dad's looking healthy.
This is the back deck. They've got relaxing down to an art on this island, with places to hang out facing just about every direction.

Sunset never disappoints here.

Never a bad time for some Bailey's and coffee.
Me and the dog wrestling. The dog is really a small horse. And I don't look so good in girl's clothing.
Sunburn!!

My last day here, we took the time to do some kayaking, which was a lot of fun. The weather held out and the waves weren't that bad.
The dog gets very excited when people approach the island.
