More Matunga and more Ganesh festival fun

As I wander around my neighbourhood, I'm always struck by how interesting all the buildings are, and tend to constantly take snaps of them. I also attended another night of festivities at my friend's compounds, which today had dancing competitions. Indians take dancing extremely seriously.

There are a lot of trees in this city so it's always pretty green.
The buildings always seem to be in a state of semi-disrepair, even if they're pretty new. Most are much nicer on the inside.
Here we go with the dancing competition. First up, the little kids.
Nearly everybody turns out for the festivities.
(although, amusingly enough, not everybody in the apartment complex likes the partying, and call the cops every night at about 11pm. It turns out that a quick hundred Rs covers that problem quickly).
Coordination is not a big thing in the under-6 age group.
Next come the pre-teen boys with their Bollywood dance routines.
Then it started pouring rain kinda bringing everything to a grinding halt. It would pour like hell for the next coupla days. Wow.
