| Some final hanging out in Rishikesh | |

2008-10-07
Well, the time here in Rishikesh was slowly coming to an end, and my digestive illnesses were only getting larger ... I was having an increasingly hard time keeping anything down, and anything dairy was pretty much guaranteed fever. But, before leaving, I met some nice Taiwanese ladies, who speak Mandarin Chinese, only with a funny accent. Oddly, they were laughing at my Beijing accent the whole time. |

This dude is leading some donkeys across the MIGHTY GANGA down there.

Apart from yoga, there's not a lot to do in this town, so reading's pretty big.

All this hanging out is tough.

Some great sunset views of Ram Jhula after dinner one day.

walking home one day, right at the big turn near our hotel, we saw a minor commotion at the turn. This is what you see if you look down. Holy crap!
|
They're pretty mild about the whole thing.

Those cables bolted into the asphalt are the attempt to pull the bus out.

This is the creepiest insect I have ever seen. I've seen praying mantises before, but .... ewwww!!!!

Check out this spider. It basically dropped onto Alex's shoulder one night during dinner. Aiya!!!!

This is Yuzhen, one of the nice Taiwanese ladies I met.

This is our upsidedown group shot

And here we are correctly oriented. They were both there doing some yoga, Yuzhen for 4 months, and Peiyu for just one month.
|
Me'n'Peiyu. Exciting.
