On thursday morning, we first did a little kayak ride in some estuaries in Tamarindo. We got to see a lot of really cool birds and ride through some neat areas. Unfortunately, the ride is veeery wet, so we decided not to risk the cameras. We then hung out at the pool our private villa had trying to dry out, and then drove down to the town of Sàmara, a couple hours to the south (about 90km). The beach down there is gorgeous and the town has a very pleasant vibe. |

All of our money and crap got wet, so we had to dry it all out.

The drive to Sàmara is pretty uneventful, and the beach is quite beautiful.

There's a cool island about a kilometre out.

The gang was checking out holes that various crabs made.

Frolicking puppies!

The waves here are quite mild, which makes one wonder how the surfing is ...
|
We had some Casado here for lunch (beans, rice, banana and a piece of meat). Awesome.
|
This is the coolest looking squirrel I have ever seen.

|
We went to our hotel and caught the sunset.
